Today, a Dutch professor and a family of three Taiwanese booked us a Tainan tour. Before long, a typhoon was reported to strike Taiwan around the tour date, luckily, we were given a sunny day that we even felt a bit hot. The Dutch professor had been to Tainan ten years ago that the memory has faded a lot so he could not really remember the local attraction. I brought him to the main temples of Tainan, such as Grand Mazu Temple, Martial God Temple and Tientan Temple, and the food was absolutely one of the highlight as we not only savored the delicacy and Taiwan beer, but left our leg relax for a while.

Hayashi Department store was a perfect stop to purchase some local specialities and to feel a new life brought by locals. And a Chinese-style church welcomed with a unique architecture, making all the visitors amaze there was such an interesting place in Tainan.

Anping was an ideal destination to spend the afternoon. The sea breeze and the nature provided anther ambience compared with the historical center. We leisurely walked on the beach and enjoyed a cozy sunset of Tainan and the group photo marked the end of the tour.
